Well life has been busy. I’m feeling like we are not getting much accomplished in any certain aspect. But we are happy and healthy and can’t complain.
I thought I would do a quick post of the fun stuff we (I) have bought recently. Junkstock is coming up this weekend and we’re not going. So instead of pouting, let’s enjoy the the new items we have.
Last month my sister-in-law and I got together for some shopping and some lunch. We ended up at a tiny little shop near Lincoln called The Old Barn. The ladies who sell stuff there have some awesome pieces. We had a great time looking around at it all.
I pretty much have a rule that I can’t pass up yellow Pyrex. It’s too cheerful and pretty to leave sitting on a shelf. So, I brought home this beauty.
It just looks happy, huh? I love it!
Also from same place I grabbed this little wooden bowl/tray. I really love wood pieces like this. I have a couple candle holders with a similar look.
This one is very sixties. Wouldn’t it be great to find a few more and make a wall collage with them? I think I will.
Lastly, since Tim and I are working on our vintage camper, we’ve had our eye out for vintage camping items. This water cooler isn’t super old, but it is a beautiful color and in amazing condition. I guess we can say it is retro. 😉
We bought it at a flea market. Tim also picked up some ginormous lead weights to use for fishing.
Here are a couple more pics of our day at the Homestead Days parade and flea market from our instagram. Make sure to follow me here: @smith_family_renovations because I post a lot of cool stuff that’s not on the blog 🙂
Well that’s all I have for today. It’s hard getting blog stuff done with a one year old and almost four year old running wild in the home. I’m hoping to get back to our #mealplanmonday,# transformationtuesday, #wednesdaypinspiration, and #thursdaytopthree posts soon!
Hopefully more camper progress to see soon! Click the pic to read about “The Prospector” 🙂
Thanks for reading, friends!
